AI committee recommends Magic School as districtwide K–12 platform; staff says data remain district-owned

The New Haven School District's AI committee unanimously recommended Magic School as the districtwide K–12 artificial-intelligence educational platform after an eight-school pilot. The committee presenter said Magic School met the committee’s safety, privacy and analytics requirements and that all data and reports would remain the district’s property.

The presenter said the pilot participants and the AI committee found the platform useful for teacher and student tools, certification opportunities, personalized instruction and district-level usage reports.
