Proctor Selectboard signs $119,439.14 in orders; manager reports operational updates

Town Manager Judy Frazier gave multiple operational updates: a forest walk with the town forester was completed and additional acres were marked to go out for bid; a July 1 walkthrough of the rink property was done with Wade Masure of the Vermont League of Cities and Towns (VLCT) and a report on that walkthrough was provided to the board; a junk-car violation letter was sent; the railroad is using Proctor water for a project and staff plan to bill the railroad for water usage at the end of the project; electrical work at the wastewater treatment facility (WWTF) was expected to be complete the week of July 14 (the minutes contain a typographical date "71/4" which was interpreted as 7/14); clarifying discussions with Synagro about their contract were ongoing; property-maintenance ordinance letters were sent; DPW performed roadside and over-guard-rail mowing; and the water department received a list of 26 shut-offs to process.
The meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m. on a motion by Albert Wenta, seconded by Jay Thorton, recorded as unanimously approved.
