Director Jim Freeman called the Hidden Valley Lake Community Services District Finance Committee to order at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and moved to approve the meeting agenda; Director Gary Graves seconded.
The committee reviewed a PumpMan quote of $20,793.62 to purchase a Flygt pump for Lift Station No. 2 on Mountain Meadow North and recommended that the Board approve the purchase. Staff described the pump need and the quote; the minutes record the committee recommendation but do not include a formal roll-call vote on the recommendation.
Members also reviewed a $56,000 quote from H&R Plumbing and Drain Cleaning, Inc., to complete sewer manhole rehabilitation and recommended Board approval of that work. Committee discussion on both procurement items focused on completing needed repairs to the district's wastewater infrastructure; specific contract terms and funding sources were not specified in the minutes.
Staff presented the monthly financial reports for the period ending Oct. 31, 2025. Administrative Services Manager Penny Cuadras and Accounting Supervisor Trish Wilkinson answered committee questions about the reports. Staff said the mid-year budget-to-actuals review will return to the Finance Committee in January and is planned for Board consideration by mid-2026.
Project Manager Hannah Davidson outlined current district projects and responded to committee inquiries. The minutes record no public comments. Committee members expressed appreciation to staff for their work.
Director Freeman moved to adjourn at 4:21 p.m.; Director Graves seconded and the minutes state the motion carried. The committee's recommendations will be forwarded for consideration by the Hidden Valley Lake Community Services District Board.
