Board reviews stream remediation work and authorizes contractor invoice payment

At the Jan. 8 meeting the Ashley Community Forest Board reviewed recent stream remediation work performed under the supervision of Windsor County Forester Dan Healey. Chair David Paganelli reported that contractor Josh Benson completed the work and added a couple of extra water bars he judged appropriate.
DP and the Board expressed satisfaction with the workmanship and DP authorized payment of the contractor's invoice. The Board summarized financial and treasurer arrangements for new member Malcolm McShinsky and reviewed the background of required AMP work that prompted the remediation.
No dissent or public comment was recorded on the stream remediation report during the meeting. The Board will consider formal treasurer assignment at a later meeting after the vacant Strafford seat is filled.
