Herriman Hill housing project: selectmen hear construction and budget update

A project representative told the board the total expected cost is approximately $13,000,000, with about $8,000,000 spent to date and roughly $5,000,000 remaining to finish. Board members asked about square‑foot cost and were told the project is in the $300–$400 per square‑foot range consistent with low‑income housing construction standards in the state.
Board members offered consensus that staff should proceed with continuing permitting and public outreach as needed; no vote was required on the update.
