Chair Genkwine opened a public hearing and the Estacada Urban Renewal Agency voted to adopt its fiscal year 2026–27 budget and a companion resolution declaring tax increment financing for the district.
The chair opened the hearing and asked the budget officer to present the proposal. The budget officer said the packet included the budget as approved by the budget committee last month and described the plan as based on projects identified in the agency's urban renewal plan. The officer said the budget includes funding for in-progress grants, a small loan program, potential sidewalks and parking projects, and administrative work associated with establishing a new district.
No members of the public asked to speak, and no board questions were raised during the hearing. After closing the public hearing, the board moved to adopt Resolution 2026-01, described by a member as a resolution "adopting, appropriating, and declaring tax increment for the FY 2026–27 agency budget." The motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
The action formally authorizes the agency to use tax increment financing as part of the urban renewal budget for the coming fiscal year and allocates funds for the projects and programs outlined by the budget officer. The board also approved the consent agenda earlier in the meeting by voice vote.
With no further comments from board members or the public, Chair Genkwine adjourned the meeting.
