Donna Leslie moved and Shirley Swanson seconded a motion that the Commission president has the authority to apply for any applicable grants within the scope and mission of the Commission’s permitted activities; the motion passed.
Members did not specify individual grant targets or application timelines during the meeting. The authorization provides the president procedural authority to submit applications; individual grants will be considered on a case-by-case basis and subject to the Commission’s budget and mission review.
