After taking the chair, Ryan opened nominations for co-chair; a nomination for Jeff was seconded and carried without opposition. The commission then moved to approve the February minutes; the motion was seconded and approved.
John (city economic development contractor) led administrative items and reviewed attendance and quorum matters. He told members the commission lacked a quorum for the prior two months but confirmed that online postings and packets are available for members to review. Mads, city staff who handles building permits, reminded the commission that agendas and packets are posted online a week in advance and available on the City Hall bulletin boards.
The meeting closed with a short agenda preview: members requested presentations at the next meeting on the completed hotel study and a University of Oregon study, a budget update, and a CTE monthly update from Aaron. No members of the public signed up to comment.
