Selectboard approves independent audit, adopts credit card policy and readies 2026 Town Meeting warning
Summary

Kevin Gish moved to approve the independent auditors' report signed Dec. 4, 2025; the motion was seconded by Ted Austin and carried unanimously.
Town Administrator Nicola Shipman presented a revised draft warning for the 2026 Town Meeting, noting the draft includes appropriation articles for The Family Place and HealthHub. Shipman also said she will work on a revised procurement policy and seek lower-cost options for the Local Hazard Mitigation Plan renewal expected in 2026.
The board approved Town Policy No. 2025-02, the Credit Card Use Policy, and the Credit Card Holder Agreement Form with a change to the record-retention requirement. Steve Gagliardone and Diana Putnam discussed possibly incorporating the Ice Rink Committee into the Recreation Department; Steve will consult committee members and report back by email. Treasurer Deb Jones recommended increasing Current Use revenue from $115,000 to $125,000 and raising State PILOT revenue to $35,000 in the FY27 draft projections.
The board set upcoming holiday closures and meeting dates and adjourned at 9:06 p.m.
