Tom Scott to pursue boundary line adjustment after initial review

At the Sharon Planning Commission meeting on Dec. 9, 2025 surveyor Robert (Rob) Townsend, speaking in person, and applicant Tom Scott, attending virtually, reviewed an enlarged 2004 survey map and discussed options for the property. Commissioners observed that the submission would likely proceed as a boundary line adjustment rather than a formal subdivision.
Tom Scott said he intends to pursue a boundary line adjustment; staff noted the adjustment acreage exceeds 1 acre, which will affect the application pathway. The Commission provided informal feedback and left the choice of formal application strategy to the applicant.
Andrew Cliburn moved to end Tom Scott’s Initial Plan Review; Dee Gish seconded and the motion was approved unanimously. Tom Scott and Rob Townsend left the meeting after the session. The applicant will contact Planning Administrator Alexandra Babicki to begin the boundary line adjustment application process.
