Council members next approved Resolution 2026‑56, appointing Jesse Curtis as an additional adviser to the Cottonwood Heights Youth City Council. Council Member Hyland moved the appointment and the measure passed unanimously after a second.
The council approved Resolution 2026‑57, a consulting agreement with William Shane Topham for city attorney transition services, and Resolution 2026‑58, an employment agreement to hire Todd Sheeran as the city attorney. Both measures were moved, seconded and adopted unanimously.
Separately, the council postponed approval of the July 7, 2026 meeting minutes until Aug. 4 at a council member’s request to allow additional review. The meeting adjourned following a final motion.
