Transfers approved included Eric Anderson (from Industrial Arts to Physics/Chemistry) and Steve Thorburn (from Social Studies to Industrial Arts). Resignations recorded were Zoe Potter (EES kindergarten) and Kendra Ploutz (forensics sponsor).
Those personnel approvals followed a series of brief executive sessions the board held between 8:12 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. to discuss employment of non-elected personnel under the Kansas Open Meetings Act (KOMA). Meeting minutes show the board reconvened in open session before recording the hiring motion and its 7-0 passage.
Separately, after a later executive session on confidential student information, the minutes record that Mrs. Bohl moved to approve a waiver of a 0.5 physical education credit based on the USD 327 course registration guide for the student involved. The minutes record the motion but do not include a second or a vote tally for that item.
