Ellsworth Board holds multiple executive sessions, approves hires and accepts resignations

Resignations accepted included Connie Weber (EJSHS English and NHS sponsor), Tennille Jones (EJSHS Science), Christi Walter (NHS sponsor), Jason Maisog (HS and JH girls and boys assistant tennis), Tim Hammye (EJSHS assistant JH boys basketball), Savannah Hellebust (EJSHS assistant volleyball), Scott Jones (tech support), and Joann Sheridan (bus driver). The motion to approve hires and accept the resignations was made by Ashley Bohl, seconded by Jake Svaty, and passed 6-0.
Minutes show that Mr. Ron Davis (Athletic Director) and Dr. Kristy Rodriguez (principal/administrator) left an executive session at 8:57 p.m.; the board later entered a session to discuss confidential student information and one for teacher negotiations. The minutes cite KOMA as the legal basis for those closed sessions.
The board's personnel motions were recorded as approved without public amendment; no appeals or votes against the recommendations appear in the minutes. The meeting adjourned at 9:35 p.m.
