Commissioners moved and seconded the resolution (mover: Commissioner Jason Musick; second: Vice Mayor Alex Curnes); the motion carried 5-0. The resolution also designates the mayor (and the city CEO) as the authorized representative to sign application materials and provide additional information as required by KDOT.
The action is an application authorization only; award, scope, schedule and any local funding commitments beyond assurances in the resolution depend on KDOT selection and standard program requirements.
