Public Works Director Dan Merkh summarized an application by Matthew and Kandace Thomas to connect their property at 2324 N. 100 Rd. (Wellsville address noted in packet) to an existing 8-inch PVC City water line adjacent to 207th Street/N. 100 Road. Staff said the owner would install about 75 feet of waterline from the city-installed 5/8" meter, that no bore of the roadway is required, and that the owner must use a licensed installer while city staff will inspect taps and install the meter. The owner is responsible for the outside-city connection fee and water system development fee per the City’s Fee Resolution.
Councilmember Longanecker moved to approve the application and the motion carried 4-0.
