Councilmember Jerry Cohlmia moved to approve the claims (Ord. App.26-05) for $81,901.37; the motion was seconded by Councilmember Richard Hostert and carried on a unanimous voice vote. The approved claims appear on the council's consent actions for the period.
Mayor Stacy Moore described the city's immediate maintenance needs at the playground and at public lighting monuments. Councilmember Steve Wagle moved to contract with Foster Bros. Wood Products to deliver playground "kiddie cushion" mulch, not to exceed $2,700; Richard Hostert seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Councilmember Richard Hostert then moved to contract with ESI to replace east- and west-monument lights and tall fixtures at Triangle Park with new acorn-style LED post-top lighting, not to exceed $15,000; the motion, seconded by Steve Wagle, also passed unanimously.
Procedural items on the agenda included approval of the April 28, 2026, minutes and the announcement of the next regular meeting on June 23, 2026. The council tabled several non-procurement items for further review.
