The commission also approved purchase of the vehicle for $48,953, with additional outfitting costs to be covered per earlier approvals. Vice‑Mayor Freddie Foster moved to approve purchase and outfitting; Mayor Joey Raspe seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Commissioners discussed that these purchases were included in the current budget, the possibility of repurposing older vehicles for Public Works, and the future need for a fleet‑management plan.
