Residents object to losing long‑term trailer parking as pickleball demand rises

Chief of Police Kris DiGiovanni suggested using the old drying bed near the sewer plant for trailer parking; Colonell said he had examined that option but raised concerns about feasibility. Commissioners and the mayor noted ADA parking needs and liability questions and said that because these issues touch property use and long‑term parking arrangements, the subject needs to be placed on a regular Commission meeting agenda for formal consideration and possible committee formation.
No formal motion or vote was recorded at the townhall; commissioners discussed options and next steps for study and potential reconfiguration.
