Heritage Commission to hold Christmas Tour of Homes every other year; minutes approved

Co‑Chair Deirdre Murphy debriefed the Commission on the December 2024 Christmas Tour of Homes, saying the Women's Club sold approximately 150 tickets for the event and recommending the tour be held every other year to increase interest and allow time to recruit participating homes.
Co‑Chair Deirdre Murphy moved that the Tour of Homes be held every other year; Helen Hersey seconded the motion and it carried 3-0. Earlier in the meeting, Co‑Chair Murphy moved to approve the Nov. 19, 2024 Heritage Commission minutes; Helen Hersey seconded and that motion also carried 3-0.
Chair Christine Arnold said the Fire Department had a reunion and that Councilman Tony Brown would discuss shadowbox memorial contents with attendees; the shadowboxes are planned at a 3x3 size and Chair Arnold expressed a desire to present them at the upcoming Chautauqua/pop‑up museum event.
The Commission scheduled a physical inventory of artifacts and supplies for Feb. 20, 2025 at 9:30 AM and encouraged volunteers to help. The meeting was adjourned at 7:31 PM.
