Board approves new hires, transfers and extracurricular appointments

The board approved the superintendent’s personnel recommendations, adding several new hires, transfers and extracurricular appointments ahead of the 2026–27 school year.
Chair presented items a–d of the personnel report, which included new hires added to part B: Jeff Wisniewski (high school social studies teacher), Adrianne Ritchie (Knox Middle School guidance counselor), Bradley Parks (KMS 5th‑grade math), Stephanie Cannon (KMS receptionist/attendance secretary) and Christine Binkley (KHS math teacher). Trustees moved, seconded and approved the personnel items by voice vote.
A staff speaker praised outgoing staff member Ms. Hamm and highlighted the hires’ credentials: Wisniewski’s classroom and coaching experience, Parks as a licensed K–6 math teacher who will provide a male role model in fifth grade, Ritchie’s recent experience as a graduation coach and Cannon’s transition from paraprofessional to secretary. The staff speaker also noted two internal transfers — Gina Skosluch to middle school treasurer and Liz Adams to shared service coordinator — and reviewed a list of coaching appointments.
The board thanked staff for the recruitment work and approved the personnel report without further amendment.
