The Mount Kisco Village Board on June 1 acted on several routine and administrative items.
Communications: The Board approved a request from Bet Torah for a Tashlich service scheduled for Sept. 13, 2026, and approved the Captain Merritt’s Hill Block Party for Sept. 19, 2026.
Rules of Procedure: Trustee Thomas G. Luzio moved to amend the Board’s Rules of Procedure; Deputy Mayor Karen B. Schleimer seconded and the measure passed unanimously.
Appointment: The Board appointed William Seegmuller as Building Inspector. Mayor J. Michael Cindrich moved the appointment and Trustee Luzio seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
Legal authorization: The Board authorized the Village Attorney to execute an agreement related to Index# 59296/2021. Deputy Mayor Schleimer moved the authorization and Trustee Luzio seconded; Trustee Heather Bryant was recorded as abstaining.
Bills and finance: The Board approved payment of May 2026 bills across funds totaling $871,400.65, including the General, Water, Sewer, Capital and Library funds. Deputy Mayor Schleimer moved the payment and Trustee Tammy L. Brown seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
Minutes: The Board approved minutes from the May 6, 2026 meeting; the motion carried with Deputy Mayor Schleimer recorded as Nay.
