At the start of the meeting Chair Diane passed out the May minutes and members reviewed them. A board member noted a correction to her last name: "my last name is Laskey," she said. After the correction a motion to approve the minutes was made and seconded. The chair called for the vote; two members voted aye and Diane abstained, so the minutes were approved with the recorded abstention.
Members discussed minor formatting issues with the printed minutes and the limitations of using the Area 58 recording as an official minutes source; Diane said the town administrator had advised that recordings cannot be used as the official minutes. The board agreed to continue using the template and to finalize June and July minutes at a later meeting.
