Council Member Bryce Wood moved to close the regular council meeting and open the closed meeting; Council Member Fran Schumann seconded. The minutes record the vote as unanimous: Lyle Bair, Fran Schumann, Joel Draxler, Bryce Wood and Daryl Black voting yes. The closed session opened at 7:01 p.m. and was recorded in the minutes as being held under the cited state statute for personnel matters.
The minutes list those in attendance for the closed session as Mayor Jeffrey D. Young, Council Members Lyle Bair, Fran Schumann, Joel Draxler, Bryce Wood and Daryl Black, and Justin B. Lewis, City Recorder. Justin B. Lewis left the meeting at 7:04 p.m. During the closed session Austin Hinckley and John Harris joined at 7:46 p.m. and left at 8:42 p.m. HollyJo Karren joined at 9:13 p.m., according to the meeting record.
Later in the evening Council Member Bryce Wood moved to close the closed meeting and reopen the regular council meeting; Council Member Lyle Bair seconded. The motion passed unanimously. The closed meeting was recorded as closed at 10:39 p.m.
A final motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Bryce Wood and seconded by Council Member Joel Draxler; the motion carried unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 10:40 p.m. The minutes are signed by Mayor Jeffrey D. Young and Justin B. Lewis, City Recorder.
