Meg Burns of the Silver City Preservation Society presented four sculpture proposals for placement in the park, funded by a Dust and Wonder Trail grant. Burns showed images and placement options from artists described as MarkSearch, Arteclettica, Rob at Hidden Springs and a late submission from Victoria Wagner, then passed out ballots listing the choices and said the results would be presented at a later meeting.
Board members discussed potential presentation of the chosen design to the Board of County Commissioners. The CAB did not take a formal vote on design selection at this meeting; the society will tabulate the ballots and return with results for the CAB to forward or present as appropriate.
