Gladstone schedules May 16 spring market; center seeks volunteers and vendor support

Michelle, the center's staff lead, told the board vendors may arrive as early as 6 a.m.; she said vendors are expected to be set up no later than 8:30 a.m., that the event will include three food trucks this year, and that roughly 50 vendors were registered at the time of the meeting.
The market is being coordinated with a citywide shredding and recycling event and a prescription drug take-back; the Gladstone Police will participate in the drug take-back. Michelle asked for two volunteers to help with morning vendor placement and said the morning period is the most labor intensive.
