Staff presented a major site plan and conditional use application for a two‑story, 12‑unit multifamily development at 901 South H Street, a triangular 0.34‑acre parcel in the TOD‑East zoning district. The project proposes a mix of one‑, two‑ and three‑bedroom units, on-site parking meeting the code requirement and landscape improvements.
Architect Abhi Canton, representing the applicant, said the design aims to provide attainable housing and has been adjusted to meet the city's site design and parking requirements. Staff noted the project meets standards subject to a list of planning, landscape, public works, water and electric utility conditions in the staff report. The board moved and voted to approve the site plan and conditional use permit based on the competent and substantial evidence in the staff report and testimony at the hearing.
