Moses Sanzo, the county controller and administrator, and Brooke Sankiewicz of Community Mental Health discussed plans to move the Maple Grove program into the Health Department facility. Sankiewicz said an assessment showed the program would need only the building’s bottom floor and that existing bathrooms are handicap accessible; she requested converting the existing showers into stalls with toilets and inquired about sharing renovation costs with the county. Committee members and staff discussed the potential use of temporary walls and current storage needs for the program.
Separately, JT Anderson, Building & Grounds/Parks Director, told the committee that an updated county auction list will include an air compressor removed from the building during recent HVAC upgrades. No motion was required for the auction list update; Anderson said the updated list will be provided to the Board of Commissioners and clerk.
