Properties Committee authorizes CMH to arrange fire suppression monitoring at West Building

JT Anderson, Building & Grounds/Parks Director, told the Properties Committee that fire suppression is now active in the West Building and that code requires monitoring. He said monitoring would cost $65 per month and would be assessed to Community Mental Health (CMH); the first month’s fee must be paid to pass inspection and occupy the building on time. Ian Kempf moved and Kevin Knisely supported recommending that CMH proceed with Thumb Alarm for monitoring; the motion carried.
The minutes record that the monitoring cost will be paid from CMH funding and that there would be no additional cost to the County’s General Fund. The committee forwarded the recommendation to the Full Board; the minutes also note that CMH will present the monitoring contract to its Board.
