Committee approves Critical Incident Mapping contract for county sites with no county cost

The Lapeer County Properties Committee voted June 11 to approve a Critical Incident Mapping proposal for county facilities.
Sarah Whaley, Emergency Management, presented quotes and recommended The Critical Response Group (CRG) to develop incident mapping for identified county-owned buildings. The committee approved the proposal in a motion by Ian Kempf, supported by Scott McMahan, authorizing the chairman to sign. The contract amount was capped at $20,818.00 and the work is to be completed by September 30, 2026. Funding was identified as account 130‑426‑750.606 and the motion notes no cost to the County General Fund.
The mapping project is intended to provide critical location and facility data to emergency management staff for incident planning and response.
