The Properties Committee on Jan. 22 approved two Central Dispatch items: payment of the ProComm annual invoice for local radio support at $55,080 and contracting Convergence Networks for a cybersecurity assessment at a cost not to exceed $7,235.
E911 Director Jeff Satkowski told the committee he negotiated the same annual ProComm cost as last year. Satkowski also said an external cybersecurity audit completed several years ago was beneficial and presented differences among quotes from three companies; the committee approved proceeding with Convergence Networks with the cost to be covered from line 482-325-977.000.
Both motions were recommended to the Full Board where required and authorized the chair or vice chair to sign the necessary agreements.
