The presenter said the clinic’s work began in 2008 with the commission’s support and that donations and volunteer clinicians sustain services. She urged residents in coverage gaps to contact the clinic — “just give us a call and let us figure that out” — and provided a staff contact for assistance.
Commission members thanked the presenter for the 40‑year service history and noted the clinic’s role in keeping people out of emergency care by helping them access medications and follow‑up.
The commission had no formal action at the session; the presentation was part of an NGO showcase to inform appropriations decisions and community referrals.
