The Rye Conservation Commission conducted a site walk at 701 South Road at 3:00 p.m. on July 9 to review a proposal for a seven‑lot subdivision. Present at the inspection were Chair Shawn Joyce, Clerk Hugh Lee, Land Use & Environmental Administrator Kara Campbell, Alex Ross of Ross Engineering, wetland scientist Marc Jacobs and developer Mike Garrepy.
The minutes record the site walk as preparatory; the applicant is scheduled to present detailed plans to the commission at the July 9 meeting. The commission will then make a motion to support or not support the subdivision based on the formal submission and any technical reports.
