RCC inspects proposed stairs over seawall at 5 Cable Road

At 2:30 p.m. on July 9, the Rye Conservation Commission conducted a site walk at 5 Cable Road to inspect plans for stairs over a seawall. Present were Chair Shawn Joyce, Clerk Hugh Lee, Member Michael Bean, Land Use & Environmental Administrator Kara Campbell, Alex Ross of Ross Engineering and homeowner Tim Keane.
The site walk was observational; the minutes state the applicant will present the project at the July 9 commission meeting and the commission will subsequently make a motion either supporting or not supporting the proposal. No formal action or vote occurred during the walk.
The attendance of an engineering representative was recorded in the minutes; further technical details are expected at the formal presentation to the RCC.
