The Riverton Unified School District #404 Board of Education on April 20 accepted the resignation of Strength & Conditioning teacher and coach Blake Arehart, effective at the end of the 2025–26 school year.
Board President Cyle Haywood called the special meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. Members present were Cyle Haywood, Kyle Anderson, Jennifer Edwards (via Zoom), Keeley Adams (via Zoom), Matt Darnaby and Judy Adams; Jeff Coleman was absent.
Judy Adams moved to approve the agenda as presented; Kyle Anderson seconded and the motion carried 6-0. Board members in attendance and those participating by Zoom signed a waiver of notice for the special meeting.
During the meeting Judy Adams moved to accept Arehart’s resignation; Matt Darnaby seconded and the board carried the motion unanimously. The board expressed its appreciation to Blake Arehart for his years of service to the district.
Judy Adams then moved to adjourn at 3:02 p.m.; Kyle Anderson seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The board noted its next regularly scheduled meeting is Thursday, May 14 at 6:30 p.m. in the Riverton Board of Education Office.
