Prison board moves to executive session on security matter; names officer Employee of the Quarter

The board reconvened at 12:01 p.m.; the reconvene motion was made by Mike Stiles and seconded by Melissa Cottle and was approved. A motion to adjourn at 12:02 p.m. was made by Mike Stiles, seconded by JR Winck, and approved.
Separately, the board recognized Brandon Fukugawa, a correctional officer, as Employee of the Quarter and gave a certificate to the Warden to present to the awardee. The Warden also announced Corrections Week, scheduled for May 5–9, 2025. The next public Prison Board meeting is set for July 24, 2025.
