Several residents addressed the council during public comment. Jerry Wenglewski spoke regarding an item on the consent agenda (Item 5). During the general public-comment period, Pat King raised concerns about street repairs and the discontinuance of spring cleanup; Pamela Clements urged the council to prioritize sidewalk repairs and expressed opposition to ending spring cleanup; and Diane Vandagrifft commented on sidewalk repairs and the Packard Avenue project. The speakers’ remarks were recorded in the meeting minutes but no formal council action on those specific infrastructure requests was recorded that evening.
The council approved the fee-structure change as part of its old-business agenda; the meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m. The minutes were later passed and approved on April 6, 2016.
