Glen Arbor Election Commission appoints inspectors for Aug. 4 primary, schedules accuracy test

Clerk Pam Laureto recommended a slate of chairpersons and election inspectors for the Aug. 4, 2026 state primary and the commission approved the appointments unanimously.
The commission approved the Oct. 18, 2024 meeting minutes before taking action on election staffing. Pam Laureto presented lists for the AM and PM polling shifts and for the Absent Voter Counting Board that include Michele Aucello, Jackie Watson, Nancy Lewis, Rita Witler, Karen Hackett, Sylvia Jones, Todd Avis, Anabell Moore, Nan O’Conner, Diane Burton, Cindy Merrit, Sharon O’Brien, Dotti Thompson, Laura Tarsa, Diane Calsbeek and Ron Calsbeek. The motion to approve the recommended Election Inspectors, Chairpersons and Receiving Board was made by Clerk Pam Laureto, supported by Treasurer Don Lewis, and carried 3–0.
The commission also scheduled a Public Accuracy Test for Monday, July 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Glen Arbor Township Hall. The motion to set the test was made by Treasurer Don Lewis, supported by Supervisor Tom Laureto, and carried 3–0.
There were no public comments at the meeting. The Election Commission adjourned at 11:10 a.m.
