The Boxborough Well-being Committee opened with a roll call and a motion from Al to approve the minutes. Members discussed whether minutes should be briefer in future and whether Mary’s detailed notes should be condensed into action items.
Al moved to approve the minutes and the motion was seconded by the chair; the committee approved the minutes by voice vote with members present answering "aye." Anne, Al, Mary and the chair were recorded as voting in favor.
The committee then spent substantial time on scheduling. Members explored moving regular meetings from early mornings on Mondays to later hours, and considered August and September dates. After trade-offs and availability checks, members agreed to hold the next well-being committee meeting on Sept. 14 at 10:00 AM via Zoom. The chair said a Doodle poll will be circulated to pick meeting dates for the remainder of the year.
The chair also asked members to consider inviting the public-health nurse, Sandy, to a future meeting; members agreed to wait until timing makes an in-person or virtual invitation feasible.
The meeting concluded with a motion from Anne to adjourn that was seconded and approved by voice vote.
