At the June 22 meeting, Planning Board Chair Dave Thimmel announced his resignation and the board approved changes to its leadership and membership.
At 7:29 p.m. Thimmel moved that Jim Fletcher become chair following his resignation; George Rainier seconded. The motion passed with a 5-0-1 tally; Jim Fletcher recused himself from voting on that motion. Thimmel then moved to appoint Randy Beltz as vice chair; the motion, seconded by Fletcher, passed 6-0-0. Thimmel also moved to seat Susan Stockwell as a full member to finish his term; that motion passed 6-0-0.
Thimmel and Jason Bennett said they will email formal resignation letters to Michelle Hall, the meeting recorder. The board thanked Thimmel for his work. Thimmel left the meeting at 7:36 p.m.
