Town narrows fire‑chief and police candidate pools, in‑person interviews planned

He said the in‑person interviews should take place through the remainder of November and the panel is hopeful a hiring recommendation will be ready by the end of the month.
The board did not vote on any appointments during the report; next steps are continued screening and scheduled interviews, leading to a future recommendation to the board.
