Preston council approves minutes needed to close lease for 2026 plow truck

Mayor Daniel M. Keller called the Preston City Council to order at 5:00 p.m. Aug. 18 and the council unanimously approved a portion of the Aug. 11, 2025 minutes tied to a lease agreement for a 2026 International plow truck so the city can complete the scheduled lease closing with Zion Bank on Aug. 20, 2025.
The motion to approve that portion of the Aug. 11 minutes was moved by Councilmember Terry Larson and seconded by Councilmember Chris Larsen. Councilmembers and the mayor gave the motion unanimous approval; the transcript records the vote as unanimous but does not provide an individual roll-call at the mic. Mayor Keller adjourned the meeting at 5:05 p.m.
City Clerk Linda Acock and Mayor Keller signed the recorded minutes at the close of the meeting. The council took no other substantive actions at this brief session.
