StanCraft presents Two Rivers Park draft design to Priest River council

Nelson Erickson of StanCraft presented the latest draft design for the proposed Two Rivers Park to the Priest River City Council, outlining options for marina layout, truck and car parking, RV check-in and spaces, and a phased approach to construction. Erickson also described proposed recreation amenities including a playground and beach area, green space, pickleball and basketball courts, a trail system, cabin sites, a frisbee golf course, a fishing pier or overlook, an amphitheater, restroom facilities, wetlands considerations and the possibility of an RV dump station.

The presentation highlighted layout choices and phasing scenarios for how the park could be built to accommodate both day visitors and RV traffic. Council members and staff discussed operational questions including parking for trucks and trailers, staging areas for RV check-in, arrangements for food-service areas such as a cantina and food-truck pads, and how wetlands and shoreline features would be preserved or integrated into the design.

Erickson told the council the design is at a draft stage and that the next steps are a due-diligence period to resolve engineering, permitting and operational details before any formal approvals or construction decisions. No formal action or vote on the design was taken at the meeting.
