The Anthem Community Council on Monday approved the appointment of a Facilities Master Plan (FMP) subcommittee and directed staff to solicit resident participation.
Barb, who asked to chair the committee during new business, named Nolan and Mark as the other director members. “I hereby ask to be the chair of that committee,” Barb said, asking the board to vote to include the three directors and residents on the panel. The board approved the motion by voice vote with no opposition.
Council staff said a one‑page FMP submittal is due Nov. 8 and the full proposal deadline is Jan. 31; review of submitted proposals is scheduled for February and March 2027. Executive Director Aaron Baker said the council will reach out broadly so the process is not limited to board members.
The board asked that a process overview be provided at the next meeting so residents understand application timing and participation opportunities. No vote was required beyond the committee appointments; the action was approved and recorded in open session.
