The Chickasha City Council approved several consent items including a master agreement and service order with ADG Blatt for professional engineering and architectural services related to the Chickasha Municipal Airport and authorized the mayor to execute the agreement. The contract covers a topographic survey, preliminary lift station review, preliminary utility design, drainage analysis and coordination services for an amount not to exceed $52,400.
The council also approved a renewal agreement with Texas AWOS Services LLC to provide maintenance and operational support for the automated weather observing system (AWOS) at the Chickasha Municipal Airport. City staff said the weather station is FAA‑certified and is maintained under an annual recurring contract with a sole proprietor approved by the FAA.
Separately, the council accepted a charitable distribution from the William C. Crittendon and Betty Lou Crittendon Revocable Living Trust as a donation to the Chickasha Fire Department and authorized the mayor and finance director to execute the documents needed to complete the distribution.
Roll call votes were taken for the consent items and related approvals; the roll‑call record in the transcript shows an affirmative vote from the listed council members for each item.
