Board President Zachary Knock then moved to approve closing the alley behind the Chancellor Event Center at the 400 block (between 1st Ave and Dewey Ave) and the Event Center's perimeter streets (1st Ave, 1st St, Dewey Ave and Dakota St) for a car show on Saturday, July 11 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The motion also authorized public consumption and sale of alcohol at the Chancellor Event Center and adjoining parking lots during those hours. Trustee Jenni Bartmann seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
Trustee Jenni Bartmann moved to charge the Chancellor Bar and Chancellor Event Center special meeting fees described in the minutes as "$45 per board member plus $30 per Chancellor Ordinance."
