Priest River City Council approves consent agenda, several contracts and a $41,685.76 lift-station proposal

City leaders approved Resolution 26-007 and Resolution 26-008 related to Stancraft's phasing plan, general design and landscape maintenance for Two Rivers Park, Resolution 26-009 updating the city's safety policy, Resolution 26-010 authorizing an independent contractor agreement with Granite Enterprises, Inc. for the City Hall re-roof project, and Resolution 26-011 concerning Reiner Pump Systems equipment for the Highway 2 Lift Station rehabilitation. Council Member Mullaley moved to approve the consent agenda and Council Member Brower seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
Council later considered a separately noticed contract proposal from KG&T Septic for installation work tied to the Highway 2 Lift Station Rehabilitation Project. Council Member Mullaley moved to approve the KG&T proposal, "not to exceed $41,685.76," and Council President Turner seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
Separately, the council approved updated job descriptions for the Law Enforcement and Code Enforcement departments after a motion by Council Member Mullaley and a second by Council President Turner. The body also approved two proclamations by resolution: Resolution 26-012, proclaiming April 11'17, 2026 as the Week of the Young Child, and Resolution 26-013, proclaiming May 4'8, 2026 as Live Give 7B Week; both passed unanimously.
