"It was about 13% change, and that was primarily in mileage, not service hours," Umar said, adding the shift did not meet the agency's 25% threshold for a major service change.
Isaac said the detour has been in place as an operational detour since May and staff recommended formalizing it because the trial period showed it functions as intended. Commissioners confirmed the alteration would not remove any existing stops and that the change aims to better serve nearby passengers. A committee member moved to approve the modification, the chair seconded and the motion carried by voice vote; the transcript records the chair saying, "Motion carries."
