The Priest River City Council approved several contracts and a fee/connection decision at its March 2 meeting.
Council Member Mullaley moved and Council President Turner seconded approval of an Independent Contractor Agreement with Granite Enterprises, Inc. for the City Hall re-roof project, not to exceed $49,000; the motion passed unanimously. The council also authorized a proposal from Reiner Pump Systems to rehabilitate the Highway 2 lift station, not to exceed $64,757, following a motion by Council President Turner seconded by Council Member Mullaley; that motion passed unanimously.
Separately, the West Bonner County School District #83 requested a waiver of water and sewer connection fees for building permit file number 8008-028-25. Council Member Mullaley moved to modify the requirements and conditions staff had imposed for that building permit and to not require a separate water or sewer connection for the proposed structure; Council Member Turner seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The minutes do not specify funding sources for the re-roof or lift-station work beyond the approved not-to-exceed amounts, nor do they record any public comment on these items.
