Priest River council approves consent agenda, denies resident's snow-berm request and tables plowing petition

The Priest River City Council met Nov. 17, 2025, at city hall and approved a multi-item consent agenda that included minutes, payables and three resolutions covering a surety agreement addendum for The Village at River View Ridge, procurement and installation of cameras, and an update to the utility customer service policy.
Council Member Mullaley moved to approve the consent agenda; Council Member Turner seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Council President Turner, Council Member Mullaley and Council Member Brower were present; Council Member Wagner was absent.
The council also accepted a declaration from the city clerk that declared certain candidates elected and canceled the Nov. 4, 2025 election. Council Member Brower moved to accept the declaration; Council Member Turner seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
On a resident request, Council Member Turner moved to deny Cindy Eskelson's petition for clearance of two snow berms at her property; Council Member Mullaley seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Separately, Council Member Mullaley moved to table Ron Stocking's request that the city plow snow on Finley Avenue until the next meeting; Council Member Turner seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Welch Comer provided a written project status update and Planning and Zoning Administrator Gabell gave a building and zoning update. Police Chief McLain gave a law enforcement update and Mayor Jeff Connolly reported on public works matters.
During public comment, resident Anne Wilder-Chamberlain of 349 Primrose Lane asked the council to repair potholes behind the library. The council adjourned at 6:22 p.m.
