Council awards three-year IT services contract to eSafe Partners

Council approved a three-year contract for managed IT services with eSafe Partners after staff and a vendor representative described the bid evaluation and expected operational improvements.
The township manager said staff received six proposals and that eSafe Partners' first-year price is about $98,000, including a $3,000 one-time onboarding fee. "That is less than the $110,000 that we're currently paying for the two services," the manager said, arguing the new contract consolidates managed services and backup while adding managed disaster-recovery capability.
Earl, who attended as the staff liaison for the procurement, said eSafe scored strongest on five evaluation factors, including CJIS compliance readiness, 24/7 help-desk support and automated alerting; council members asked follow-up questions about service-level agreements. One council member asked where eSafe is physically located; a representative answered "Robinson." The manager said the previous contract ends mid-August and staff expects to implement the new contract as soon as preparations are complete.
On a recorded roll-call vote the motion to award the contract passed with recorded 'favor' votes from present council members.
